Welcome to GIOP 

The Gateway I-O Psychologists group (GIOP) is a community for I-O psychologists to learn from each other, to connect with colleagues, to share their expertise. We do this through programs, networking, and professional opportunities.

Our vision is to be the premier community of I-O psychologists in the St. Louis region. Specifically, the purposes of GIOP are to:

  • Provide education and professional development for members
  • Promote the exchange of scientific, empirical, practical, theoretical, and conceptual information between members
  • Serve as an open forum where members may meet and discuss topics of mutual interest and concern

Do you have a poster presentation coming up for a conference? Do you want to practice presenting it? Let us know! We are planning a poster session in early April.

Book Club Announcement - We are reading The Power of Bad by Tierney and Baumeister for our Summer Book Club. Get your copy and start reading! Date of meeting to be announced soon.
